How to stop my topper from sliding back when I wear it?Updated 2 months ago

This is a common issue and there are lots of easy ways to fix it!

Tip #1: Use all the clips where possible.
Some customers prefer not to use a front comb if their scalp is especially sensitive. You can add extra clips to your topper yourself for more security, many customers like adding two small clips at the front.

Tip #2: Use a texture spray/powder or dry shampoo on your bio hair to add grip before clipping in, this helps the clips hold better, especially if your hair is soft or clean.

Tip #3: Style it low.
If wearing your hair up, use low styles such as a low bun or ponytail to reduce pulling and tension.

Tip #4: Use a Topper Grip.
All Lusta Toppers are shipped with a Topper grip free of charge. Using the topper grip will give you additional security at the front, especially if you are wearing your hair up in a ponytail or bun.

Pro tip: If you're dealing with sparse areas at the hairline, try Clingy Fibers, our hair fibres, to fill in and give the topper more to grip onto.
